The Challenge ...
The customer had purchased a recently built house with no loft access – the original opening having been boarded over. As such, they wanted to open up the loft space and board the area to make use of the wasted space. A high-quality, durable ladder was needed.
What made the project more challenging was the fact the loft hatch was positioned on a vertical wall, as opposed to a regular horizontal ceiling position. Furthermore, the hatch was 3m from the floor.
The Solution ...
The Supreme Vertical was quickly identified as the perfect loft ladder for the project. This high-performance vertical wall access ladder is suitable for ceiling heights up to 3.39m, so could easily achieve the 3m height that was required.
Furthermore, the hatch box is made-to-measure, so the unusual aperture measurements of 985mm x 695mm were no problem at all.
